The Claimant’s whiplash injuries included injury
to her neck, seatbelt bruising to chest, lumbar
back strain, exacerbation of pre-existing
asymptomatic patellofemoral arthritic condition
and back condition. Other injuries included
bruising to both knees. The claimant’s whiplash
symptoms had restricted his social activities,
ie. He was unable to launch the family fishing
boat, go camping or play with his young children
to the extent that he would have wished. The
duration of the injuries and prognosis were
assessed as persisting back pain, acceleration
of pre-existing back symptoms by 5-7 years. |
