The Claimant sustained whiplash injuries to the
neck and lower back. Other injuries were
bruising to the chest, night terrors and travel
anxiety. Claimant was absent from work for two
weeks and was in considerable pain and found it
difficult to move. Claimant was unable to do
housework and could not take care of the
children. Claimants marital relationship and
social activities were affected. Claimant was
off work for 2 weeks and suffered night terrors
for 2 weeks. Bruising to chest resolved within 2
months and the travel anxiety settled after 7
months. Full recovery from all physical symptoms
attributable to accident within 12 months.
