The Claimant’s whiplash injuries included injury
to neck, shoulders, chest and upper back.
Claimant also suffered from nightmares. Claimant
was thrown backwards and forwards on impact
during a head-on collision. Claimant was off
work for 1 week and on light duties for 3 weeks.
Chest pain resolved within 1 month and neck
symptoms within 3 months. Claimant recovered
from nightmares, shoulder and upper back pain
within 8 months of accident. GP provided advice
to exercise and was referred for physiotherapy
by her local hospital.
